Blood tests and X-rays to detect tuberculosis were conducted on fifty pupils and teachers in a Hong Kong secondary school on Wednesday amid fears of a wider outbreak after eight people on the premises were infected.
Kiangsu-Chekiang College (Sha Tin) would also ask the Department of Health to screen all members of the school to ensure their safety, vice-principal Lau Chi-ip said.
