A Hong Kong doctor was found guilty on Wednesday of two charges of professional misconduct after a 73-year-old cancer patient in his care died when a breathing hole in his throat was blocked by gauze.
The Medical Council ruled that Dr Wong Cheuk-yi, who treated Wang Keng-kao from October to November 2011 in Kowloon Hospital, was guilty of two of the three charges he faced.
