Hong Kong experienced the hottest winter solstice in 20 years, and it’s likely temperatures will remain relatively balmy for Christmas.
The Observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 25.2 degrees Celsius (77.36 Fahrenheit) on Saturday, making it the hottest winter solstice in 20 years and the sixth warmest since 1884 when records began.
