An amber rain signal and thunderstorm warning were issued by the Hong Kong Observatory on Saturday as the city kicked off another weekend of protests.The colour signal – the first on a three-tier scale of severity – issued at 11.15am means heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Hong Kong.
