An area of wetland in Yuen Long that forms a vital habitat for wading birds has been badly damaged by fire, leaving charred earth where reeds once billowed.
The 177-hectare plot in Nam Sang Wai is owned by Nam Sang Wai Development Company, whose shareholders include Henderson Land Development and KHI Holdings Group.
