The Hong Kong Observatory cancelled its amber rainstorm warning at 11.30am on Tuesday after a morning of heavy rain and flooding in some areas of the city.
The signal, which was issued at 8.20am, indicates that heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Hong Kong, exceeding 30mm in an hour, and is likely to continue.
